Black His-Story

Updated: Jul 3, 2020

"I have a Dream". Once again it is February and for Our people it is identified as the Month to recognize our history. Do we celebrate Black history?. Is it me, or do our Black History month seems controlled??. And I am not talking about the fuckin shortest month. It’s like a appeasement period. We will have McDonald’s MLK commercials, professional teams will highlight I have a dream. Schools will re-enact Ross parks (Tovey Wall and Wade Haney played MLK they know what I am talking about) refusals to give up her seat on the bus. But it stops there.

Do any of you Know of Bayard Rustin?. A Harlem, Civil Rights, Pioneer who happened to be Gay. He worked with Mr. A. Phillip Randolph to organize the March on Washington. One of the many who fought against Discrimination within the work place, during the 1960’s. How about

Mr. Kwame Ture formally known as Stokely Carmichael. A former member of S.N.C.C, and Black Panther Party. Mr. Ture was the first person to coin the term “Black Power”. Mr. Ture is a person who became disillusioned with the two party system, He developed independent political Organizations. FBI director Edgar Hoover identified Mr. Ture as Malcolm X successor

And used His resources to discredit Mr. Ture. Edgar Was Afraid Of a “Black Messiah”. Mr. Ture a passionate ambassador of Pan-African-ism is One of my favorite heroes.

I can list so many more example of true Black History in America. I just wanted to touch on some of my heroes. To me our history is sanitize, it is not meant to inspire, Anger, influence our movement. "I have a Dream"
