our tongues dance softly

like non poisonous

snakes making

procreated love

How fast my heart beats

After I've dialed your number or knocked on your door or

waited for you before our next date

I need your pulse to quicken

and blood pressure

to rise when

we talk about us

the way it does

whenever I hear

your voice and you say

"hey babe"

I want you to get that look

The one that says

"oh shit!"

When we trade places

When you get to see

What I'm always lookin at

When you sashay in the room

I want you to see

why I always

wear sunglasses

whenever I'm about

to see you

So that you can feel

how my eyes swell up

as if I'm allergic to something

or

How many times

I tell you that love is blind

so I close my eyes tighter

in order that the image of you

never slips from my sight

You would hear softly strummed violins every time your hair blows in the wind

You would hear drops of water everytime it drips into a filled cup when ever you part your lips to speak

You would swear the temperature in the room shifted because of your presence or the way your

legs say "look at me"

whenever you are in heels

when you walk by

But the thing is...

You would be experiencing

all of these feeling

inside my body,while

looking at you

with my eyes

So yes...

For one moment in time

Let's trade places

With each other

Just so that you could see

taste and feel everything

that I go through

Whenever I see ,kiss,

look, and wait to

see you all over again

ever since

whenever I see you.
