The Murder Massacre
I’m not trying to get any
of you to agree with me
I'm trying to get you for once to
Stop ignoring your dam history
People lost their mind
As black people
Ran for their lives from
White folks that flew
airplanes that dropped bombs of
Fire lit turpentine.
Bombed a community
if for no other reason
not under the banner
of us being equal
But to eradicate the lives
Of successful black people
Bombed a community
if for no other reason
not under the banner
of us being equal
But to eradicate the lives
Of successful black people.
Booker T. called it
THE NEGRO Wall Street
And they tried to suppress it
They lied about it and
Was silence about it
Didn’t teach it in schools
And like black votes
Tried to deny the truth to
you about it.
They say we have no
right to complain
but continue to pray
that the same game
remains the same.
but how do you white wash
the 35 blocks of a massacre
that took away dreams
that’s still an active crime scene?
Families were
chased by white men
women and children
Had people on their knees
and openly killed
black men women and children.
But....Where are the bodies?
Why are we afraid to call it what it is?
Why are we scared to hear the truth ?
Why do we scream Black Lives Matter,
But are comfortable ignoring
100 years of truth?
AMERICA NEEDS A DUSHE!
People ran for their
lives out of fear and desperation
But the government denies
the truth and refuses
to give them any kind of reparations.
Today there is
money in exploiting
black pain thing.
So I ask,
how come our pain is so profitable
But you got people brainwashed thinking that systemic racism either
doesn’t exist or its fuckin unstoppable,
But paying us for our pain and suffering will magically bankrupt you?
So basically,
If you don’t stop the lies
We have continue to mobilize, and
I’m tired of the cries,
and your white political fairy tale alibies.
Mother Fletcher was right.
She lived past Jim Crow, and
Saw Movement of Civil Right
And at 107 years old she said
THE CITY FAILED US & MADE
MONEY OFF OF US
BUT SHE STILL HASN’T
GIVEN UP THE FIGHT
SO WHATS YOUR EXCUSE?
Dedicated to the Men Women and Children Who
were murdered, and the few that survived:
Viola fletcher (107) – Leslie Randel (106) and Hughes Van Ellis (100)
And all those who demand justice for those
Who were there at The
TULSA RACE MASSACRE MAY 31, 1921
