We will be Heard

I hate when people say “we have to pick the best of the two evils” when it comes to voting. The playing field has been dwindled down to two. Biden and Bernie. Both men will say anything to get your vote.

For some democrat, Biden is the savior of the Democratic Party. The other side thinks Bernie is a Maverick who will make a great social change. For me personally I cannot fathom a person at the age of 77, and 78 respectively making any social change That would affect the plight of Black Americans. Neither candidate supports Reparations of any kind For descendants of North American Slaves. Let’s look at Biden one of the architects of the 1986 crack laws, and string supporter of the 90’s crime bill that affected hundreds of thousands of Black families. Isnt it ironic that the children of those possibly affected by that Crime bill introduced by a Democratic President are the young adults who vote he covets. What does he offer our communities other than being Obama’s Vice President?. Remind me what great strides was accomplished during that period?. Bernie Sanders universal Medicare for all is a great idea. However, how do we pay for this? And is that just saying whatever needs to be said.

In my opinion Black traditional support of the Democratic Party needs to be revisited. The terms of our loyalty needs to be renegotiated. In the 80’s the Republican Party had a clear and concise plan to take over both houses. And push the “contract with America“. In the late nineties when upstart Tea party threatened to swing conservatives out of the Republican Party. They adapted and absorbed the ideas and made it their own. The Democratic Party has done nothing. Actually the Democratic Party is too old.

Obama was a amazing, Historical run. But at every turn there were resistance because he was Black. Was Obama Set up for success?.

As a people did we do enough?. Are we motivated to Run for every office In our own localities?.

We we must change our views as a people and look at American Politics aS a vehicle to better our way of life. Why not lead?. we have been sold that we must be the protectors of everyone else's concerns at the detriment of our own issues being dealt with First.

so this election year. Let this be the last year that we choose the “lesser of both evils”.

Let the Democratic Party take notice.. Have a Plan of Action. Eliminate the Gate keepers who is only there to be on Tv. (How many laws have Schumer actually got on the books??). Be warned that there is a sleeping political Rhino about to awaken. Young Black and Educated Who is the Black Ethos. We are one And when we start running we don’t stop.
